yep, this is a true story

In case anyone has the desire to read about the shocking information coming out about the former commander of one of Canada’s largest military bases. It’s the stuff of televison serials and suspense thrillers.

    I thought they usually do psychological testing before you can enter military positions? No? He is definitely not healthy in the head.

    Wowzers. Part of what is baffling is how meticulously he cataloged everything! That is almost as bizarre as the rest of it. Well, he won’t be on the street any time soon, so that’s good.

    I typically avoid sensationalist news, but I’ve been riveted by this as it unfolds. It is such a reminder that the truly dangerous crazy people may be perfectly capable of walking among us.

  5. Sociopaths with any intelligence at all are undetectable and developing tests to detect them is silly. Understanding how they came to be is more important but of course the only place money is spent is on tests to detect them, not researching how they become who they become (i.e., learning how to change their development trajectory and, potentially, eliminating the need to detect them).
